Elizabeth HaywardSeptember 12, 2021Another fabulous release and another must-have Streisand record. It’s almost beyond words to get the opportunity to hear fresh material from the vaults. To hear that Streisand voice from decades ago singing ‘new’ material like it was only yesterday? To get the chance to hear songs which in many cases really should have made it onto the albums they were intended for (‘You Light Up My Life’, ‘When the Loving Goes Out of Loving’, ‘Be Aware’ and ‘If Only You We’re Mine’ in particular fitting that description)? To be able to sit back and ‘date’ the songs from the changing nuances of the voice over time? Just wonderful. The only disappointment worth mention is the release of the extra track version in the US only… It took quite a while to get hold of a copy in the UK and it’s one of the best tracks on the album! Anyway, here’s to the next Release Me collection - let’s hope we don’t have too long to wait!

Christine TaylorJune 17, 2021I have always admire Barbara's voice, she sounds like an angel. When she used to act, she was amazing at that as well. I'm so happy that she is still making music.
